Learning Pathways
Our school motto is Knowledge is a Treasurehouse which states that knowledge is something to be valued and treasured as a taonga. Harnessing all that is good in our surroundings we pride ourselves in offering an unparalleled educational experience.
Junior
In Year 7 & 8, students learn in a homeroom. Whilst there remains a focus on Literacy and Numeracy foundations, students are given the opportunity to foster their curiosity in a range of specialist subjects from Science Laboratory to Cooking.
Middle
In Year 9 & 10, learners continue to develop their sense of identity and turangawaewae.
Our students are given real opportunities to develop their social actions and collaborations through Environment Southland and Enviroschools projects.
Senior
All our courses are structured to encourage students to develop coherent, differentiated pathways to further study and adult life.
