Bring your own device (BYOD)
Year 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 students are required to bring their own device for learning (Laptop or Chromebook – not a Cellphone or iPad).
We require Year 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 students to have access to a device at all times for the multitude of tasks that are being completed digitally but will require them to bring their own device with them. We have a number of possible ways of helping families for whom this may present issues and we would ask that if this is the case for you, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist you. This assistance can be in different forms, so please get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us. For those families whose students already have devices, they are required to bring it to school every day. Our focus for the junior school is different, as we look closely at the tasks that are being completed across the junior school and the potential benefits / issues around having a device. However, for the Year 9 – 13 students we recognise that access to a device is a constant benefit for these students across the curriculum.
